Just Like Someone Without Mental Illness book by Mark Vonnegut

This is a good solution 8. The cover is compelling, it meets the needs of what I was looking for and has great customer reviews and several purchase options. This book definitely meets my needs in the book I was looking for. This is a good solution 7.

Autistic blessings and Bipolar me. This was first published in Elizabeth Campbell. It really doesn't elaborate on the issues that I was necessarily looking for. It fails to give enough information about the topic and only provides limited information that can easily be found online.

This is a good solution 5. It tells the story of the twins Pamela, who succumbed to schizophrenia, and Carolyn, who became a psychiatrist. This nonfiction tale follows sisters one with schizophrenia and the other that treated her. It's a real eye opening look into the world of schizophrenia and I suggest it to anyone who might be dealing with a loved one in a similar position.

This is a good solution 3.

Yolanda Escobar. It is about a family's journey of helping their schizophrenic brother and how they all come together to ensure his safety and treatment. A very compelling book that will make you think long after you are done reading it.

This is a good solution 2. Shamans Among Us: Schizophrenia, Shamanism and the Evolutionary Origins of Religion is a book that deals with schizophrenia, but from the prospective of shamans from the past entering your mind and creating this disease. I just don't feel this is the best nonfiction book about the disease, it is too weird and just not enough proven science behind it.

This is a good solution 1. The book January First is one of my absolute favorites because it sort of turns schizophrenia on its head. If you are a care giver for someone in this situation or if you are just interested, you will be engrossed in this novel. At the late age of twenty-eight—and after nineteen rejections—Mark was accepted to Harvard Medical School, where he gained purpose, a life, and some control over his condition.

There are the manic episodes, during which he felt burdened with saving the world, juxtaposed against the real-world responsibilities of running a pediatric practice. Ultimately a tribute to the small, daily, and positive parts of a life interrupted by bipolar disorder, Just Like Someone Without Mental Illness Only More So is a wise, unsentimental, and inspiring book that will resonate with generations of readers.
